The Cathedral
Located on the southwestern side of the harbor, a peninsula includes the cathedral. Built in the 19th century in Byzantine style, the cathedral replaces a 12th-century church. The original altarpiece can be seen in the cathedral, as well as the burial place of the late Princess Grace of Monaco and many other princes and princesses.
Port Hercule
Located in the south of Monte Carlo, Port Hercule is the largest port, next to La Condamine known as the heart of Monaco. This area is the place to see the impressive yachts and enjoy a promenade around the harbor. An electric boat-bus can carry you between the two sides of the port.

The Prince’s Palace in Monaco is one of the highlights of a journey in the Principality, with much to enjoy from 15th-century frescoes to opulent 18th-century state rooms. Located in the square in front of the Palace, you can watch each day the changing of the guard at 11:55.
The Trophy of August in La Turbie
Overlooking the bay of Monaco, the Auguste’s Trophy in La Turbie is one of the few buildings of this time and this type still preserved today. Located on the highest point of Via Julia Augusta, the panorama extends to the border of Italy where the surrounding mountains have experienced a very ancient human occupation.
